Inspiration for the mod came after reading the Norwegian book " Vikinger i Krig" (English: Vikings at war) by Kim Hjardar and Vegard Vike, which I can only recommend reading.
Changes to text are done to increase the historical immersion effect. The mod focuses on the historical aspect of the Viking age in the British Isles and Ireland, while making the rework without destroying gameplay. The Viking Age in Britain (VAB) is a major rework of creative assembly’s Total war saga, thrones of Britannia. The mod is primarily made for my own gameplay, but hopefully other Thrones of Britannia players may find it enjoyable too.
